Here it is... footage of me talking at the O2 Arena in front of over 4,000 people!! When I put 'do some public speaking' on my bucketlist I never imagined it would be to this scale; this was by far the biggest talk I have ever given but it was so much fun!! The event was hosted by Clare Balding and other speakers included Andrew Marr, Ben Ainslie and former South African President F. W. De Klerk. Annually the event attracts high profile names- over the years other speakers who got a standing ovation include David Beckham, Neil Armstrong, Christopher reeve and Bill clinton- and now there's me!!! The content of the talk was very similar to previous ones I have given, although the main context I tried to give to this audience was the importance of giving and helping others. The result was that at the companies annual dinner a massive £194,000 was pledged to charity by it's members. This was then matched pound for pound by the company itself and donated to the Teenager Cancer Trust!
