Laid-back dad Jonathan forgets to give his kids breakfast before a trip to the zoo. Son Harry isn't happy as a result so Jonathan tries his luck by treating them to an ice cream, in winter. A major tantrum ensues. In each episode, two mums pack up their things and move out of the family home for a week, leaving two spectacularly inept Dads to look after the kids. Dad stays at home, mum stays in a luxury health spa. Whilst examining and debating everything that dad says or does, mum’s only communication comes twice a day: anonymous improvement notes arrive after breakfast; a dreaded phone-call comes last thing at night.
