Miss Turkey 2014 (Elidor Miss Turkey 2014), the annual event was held at the Star TV Studios in Istanbul on May 27, 2014. The show was originally scheduled to take place on May 15th, but it was postponed due to the mine disaster in Soma which took all the attention of the country's media. At the end of the event, four candidates won the four crowns at stake. With 1.78 m in height, stunning Amine will represent Turkey in the 2014 Miss World pageant to be held in London, England, on Sunday December 14th. Second place went to Dilan Cicek Deniz (19), who was crowned Miss Turkey Universe. Dilan stands 1.77 m in height and will compete in the Miss Universe 2014 pageant also scheduled for December. Aybuke Pusat and Gizem Kocak finished in 3rd and 4th place, respectively.
