President Yoweri Museveni has given reassurance that no person or group of persons can destabilize Uganda because the country has the capacity to foil such plans. The president made the remarks while presiding over the International Women's Day celebrations at Rwimi Primary School in Bunyangabu District. He also advised people of the Rwenzori sub-region to avoid sectarianism politics and promote tourism since it's a leading foreign exchange earner for Uganda. Several women, including Miss World Africa Quin Abenakyo, were awarded medals for exceptional contribution to the country.
