35A - Orange Mountain Lake (5x7) / Small Oil Sketch / Old Version

I made this painting in very rich colors to give that Hawaiian feel, also it's a night scene with milky way and stars all over the sky. The entire painting has only few colors but it's about blending them in while building up the sky portion. The palm trees are just black painted with brush round, 0 and fan, 2 - for the fan-leaved effect. I used white gouache to create the milky way and all the stars. White gouache is just like watercolor, except it's opaque instead of being transparent. I personally don't like chinese white or titanium white watercolor so that's how I discovered permanent white gouache :) Paper: watercolor hot press, 140lb 100% cotton. I also added ll the annotations on the specific colors and brushes in the video. Please feel free to ask any questions!
