When Pilentum visited an exhibition for model railways, he saw this fine model railroad with German model trains in HO scale. The model railway layout was constructed as a modular model railroad layout with typical features of a landscape in Southern Germany. Therefore, a lot of German diesel trains and railcars are presented on this layout. The model railway was built by a German model train club. Construction began in 2015 and each year, new segments and new modules were added. The model railroad has an area of approximately 9.5 meters x 3.0 meters and it is operated with the digital control from Roco and Uhlenbrock.
